Roles and access

Access is governed by your Ignition Identity Provider. See Roles and permissions for the full breakdown.
- Administrator — manages Enterprise Management (connections, profiles, decoders, sites, fleet); enterprise-wide visibility.
- General (field user) — signs in to the Field App; scoped to their assigned site.
Connection credentials configured in Enterprise Management are never exposed to Field App users.
