Catch problems before uploading, when they’re cheapest to fix.

Checklist

Section titled “Checklist”
  • The file is a CSV (only CSV is supported).
  • Column headers are unchanged from the downloaded template.
  • Every row has a name and a valid 16-character dev_eui.
  • dev_eui values are correct — a mistyped EUI produces a device that never connects.
  • No dev_eui is repeated within the file, and no tag_path resolves to the same folder as another row.
  • name values contain no forward slash (/).
  • Any deviceType values match a profile label exactly (no trailing spaces, no ambiguous duplicate labels).
  • Any tag_path values use a valid tag provider (if a [provider] prefix is given) and legal path characters.
